Rahua – holy grail of hair care

Rahua profil

I am obsessed with the cosmetics which are fairly natural supported by science and work. I always look on the ingredients list first, the smell and packaging don’t bother me too much.

I have fine, delicate hair hence I try to limit my hair styling cosmetics to the minimum. I used to use either Oribe glossing cream or Philip B finishing cream with mixed results.

When I initially discovered Rahua I was mind blown with instant changes I noticed. Clean shiny hair with life in them. I started from original Shampoo and Conditioner then moved to the Volume range which I found extremely effective. For the first time ever I understood what volumising qualities meant without my hair being dry and straw like.

Despite of astonishing results I couldn’t justify spending £27 (!!!) on shampoo and same for conditioner long term hence I decided to try another of rahua’s wonder product – finishing treatment and it became the staple in my hair care since then. Especially during the time when I grew my hair long and have had my hair cut less often.

It is natural organic treatment which strengthens hair, prevents from damaging while hot styling and leaves them super smooth and glossy.

The ingredient list is impressive with the main one being an extract of the African rahua + ungurahua oils, green tea, raspberry leaf and Quinoa. They all work together to rebuilt, nourish and protect hair and scalp against damage.

I use shampoo and conditioner which do not contain silicones hence rahua can really work its magic when I apply it to my dump hair or as a final step after curling. I love the fact that it doesn’t make my hair greasy like some oils or weighted down. Little goes a long way, one 60ml jar lasted  me good 6 months of daily use. It smells gorgeous, with “palo santo” being a signature scent with aromatherapy qualities.
