As you all probably noticed I have been in love with both brands, by Terry and Zelens. I have used skincare products from their ranges for a while now and I have to admit that they provide great results. Packed with high tech and botanical ingredients make a splurge well worth it.
I previously used by Terry’s sheer expert and loved it. Densiliss is a different proposition, it feels like a skincare however gives great medium coverage and looks like a second skin. From the moment you apply it it blends perfectly due to its rich creamy formula, spreads evenly leaving the skin looking fresh and flawless. It also works as a serum containing wrinkle control ingredients and antioxidants. Densiliss wears really well through out the day, does not oxidize or look messy. It is a very high quality product which delivers on both skincare and make up department. It is available in 10 shades hence everyone should be able to find a close match, little goes a long way hence a bottle should last about 6 months. Available at Spacenk and Harrods – £76.00 for 30ml.
Zelens Youth Glow is a very similar foundation. It delivers on quality, skincare and color. Its creamy formula offers solid, light to medium coverage, it makes complexion glow but not shine, well covered but not like a mask, moisturized but not greasy. It is well pigmented but light, it contains antioxidants which protect against environmental damage and work as an anti-aging treatment. Youth Glow is long lasting, doesn’t seat in the wrinkles and gives the impression of very relaxed, smooth skin. Available at Spacenk – £60.00 for 30ml.
Both foundations are brilliant performers and I wouldn’t be able to compare them to anything else but La Prairie’s Caviar Foundation which is mind blowing but in a different price range.
By Terry is winning slightly over Zelens to me due to its skincare qualities and a little longer wear. Densiliss is a perfect combination of effective skincare with greatly pigmented make up. By Terry has much longer history and stronger expertise in make up while Zelens is on experimental stage, which however seems very successful. Youth Glow is a little less pricey though. Having used both products I am delighted to alternate them depending on my budget as they both well ahead of the competition.
